Birmingham

Hello !

For once, I'm on time : yesterday I went to Birmingham and I loved so much this city that I want to share my pictures today ! Pour une fois, je suis dans les temps : hier je suis allée à Birmingham et j'ai tellement aimé cette ville que je souhaite vous faire partager les photos dès aujourd'hui !

Birmingham is 50min away from Leicester by train and is considered as the 2nd city of England, after London of course ! Barely out of the station, an elevator brings you straight into a shopping centre. Once out of this one, the main street leads you towards 2 other shopping centres, the Bullring and Pavilion. Birmingham est à 50min de Leicester en train et est considérée comme la 2ème ville d'Angleterre, après Londres bien sur ! A peine sortie de la gare, un élévateur vous emmène droit au coeur d'un centre commercial. Une fois en dehors de celui-ci, la rue principale mène vers 2 autres centres commerciaux, The Bullring et le Pavilion.

To say it shortly, Birmingham is a crazy city for shopping ! I went there with Fraser and his colleague Reka, basically we helped Fraser to shop lol Personal Shopping Assistants... for free !! But it was so nice to discover another city than Leicester, much bigger and so lively ! People everywhere (English people are so shopping addicted oh my god !), animation in the streets etc... Bref, Birmingham est une ville de folie concernant le shopping ! J'y suis allée avec Fraser et sa collègue Reka, en gros nous avons aidé Fraser à faire son shopping lol Assistantes personnelles de shopping...et gratuitement !! Mais c'était vraiment agréable de découvrir une autre ville que Leicester, nettement plus grande et tellement vivante ! Des gens partout ( les Anglais sont complètement accros aux shppoing, oh my god !), de l'animation dans les rues etc...

As a French girl in England, I had the use of my tourist status and asserted myself as a Japanese tourist for the day ! So we went to the City Hall so I could say I haven't only been to shopping centres ;-) En tant que Francaise en Angleterre, j'ai usé de mon statut de touriste et me suis déclarée Touriste Japonaise pour la journée ! Nous nous sommes rendus à l'Hotel de Ville afin que je puisse affirmer que non, je ne suis pas qu'allée dans les centres commerciaux ;-)

17:30 Time to live Birmingham...

Next time, I'll probably go there with Léa but this time more to stroll and visit the city. La prochaine fois, j'irai  surement avec Léa mais cette fois-là pour se promener et visiter la ville.

Salut la miss!
Jvois que toi aussi t'as succombé à la folie shopping de cet immense centre commercial dont la superficie équivaut à 26 terrains de foot! Si si!!
Quand nous y sommes allées, nous avons fait Victoria Square, et derrière le City Hall, il y a un musée d'art, gratuit (ce qui est une bonne chose!!) assez intéressant!
Nous sommes allées à York ce samedi, c'était sympa! photos sur mon blog et facebook :D
